Maharashtra State Skills University (MSSU) was approved and established in the year 2021, its campus is in the heart of Mumbai Maharashtra. Located in 3 Mahapalika Marg, Metro Chowk, the institution is running at the 1st floor of Elphinstone Technical High School and although it is rather new – striving for skill based education for developing different fields and demands.

MSSU has availed for its students various features that would complement their learning process. Being an academic entity, the library is an invaluable resource centre which makes students get all that they need as they study. For sports enthusiasts, MSSU has provided sporting amenities, thus a blend of the two essential aspects of development, education, and health. It boasts a good IT infrastructure; that shows that the students get all the necessary technological input they require in their course. Also important to mention it, the university has discipline-based computer labs where students can develop practical skills in their chosen areas of specialisation. 

MSSU currently developed and is offering 12 courses in 4 degree programmes, the courses are mostly at post graduate level and are related to technology and management disciplines. Full-time programmes constitute the university to be industry relevant in terms of curriculum offers a variety of full-time programmes, it is focused on the providing the quality education in the perspective and perspective fields such as M.tech in Internet of Things, Cyber Security, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, etc.
