Master of Arts (M.A) in Music Instrumental is a full-time two-year postgraduate course and it is offered by the Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak.


Eligibility Criteria

  • A Candidate must have passed BA (Hons.) in Music with 45% marks in aggregate and Bachelor’s degree with Music as one of the subjects with at least 45% marks in the subject of Music. 
  • Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with any of the following examinations: Sangeet Prabhakar (6 years) from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad with each year certificate. 
  • Sangeet Visharad (6 years) from Gandhara was Mahavidyalaya, Mumbai with each year certificate. 
  • Sangeet Visharad (5 years) from Prachin Kalan Kendra, Chandigarh with each year certificate. 
  • Sangeet Shiromani from Delhi University, Delhi OR Vid (6 years) from Indira Kala Vishavidyalya
