Monark University, Ahmedabad: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Monark University was established in 2021 and is a state private University situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. University currently has so many courses with specialization in Arts, Science, Engineering, Management, and Law faculties. Having 171 courses and 24 distinctive degrees, Monark University focuses on different academic areas. This institution is under the University Grants Commission (UGC) hence complies with education standards. Even though enrollment and faculty numbers are unavailable it is clear that the university offers a vast array of course offerings pointing to a large academic capacity. 

This University has a host of facilities that have been developed to foster student learning and development. The campus includes boy’s hostel and girl’s hostel which are clean and well furnished with internet connection. The library is designed with modem learning in mind and has printed and online books, journals, and e-resources written on various fields. The university is having conveniently designed laboratories to fulfill the requirements of basic sciences, Information Technology, Commerce, Management, and languages. For the law students, a moot court facility has been provided to provide hands on practical experience. It also has an auditorium and conference hall necessary for different activities of students and academic processes. A centrally located cafeteria provides a Gross Menu fast food at a very cheap price. You wanton availability of amenities for indoor and outdoor games such as badminton, chess, carom, table tennis and furthermore cricket. Facilities like Wi-Fi, First AID facilities at the university’s health center, and transport facilities aiming at providing most of the needed routes within the city of Ahmedabad for the students’ access are thus offered. Monark University has the best academic offerings of any campus I have seen. 

The institution provides 171 courses at diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels respectively. These include full time, part time and dual modes for studying and learning and can meet different needs of the learners. The program offers can be grouped into arts and sciences, engineering, management, law and other professions. Though the total number of seats for all the courses are not mentioned some of the courses like BE Computer Engineering have a reported number for intake as 120. One of the features of the academic focus of the university is the availability of a wide list of Ph.D. programs offered. 

Admission for most of the courses at Monark University is through an assessment of their performance by the applicant. For courses such as BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), there is an NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) on which admission is granted. There are certain programmes that require the university to set its own examination admission cycles of which are given during the various cycles of admission. It is recommended that a potential student consult the institution’s website or speak with a representative of the admission office because the date and time keep changing especially by the type of program and academic year. 

It ia worthwhile to mention that courses being taught at Monark University cover new domains of study such as Cyber Security, Aviation Hospitality, and Tourism Management. The university’s specializations include various arenas of education along with the latest technologies and resources which makes GMC attractive for students when it comes to studying in Gujarat but unfortunately information regarding scholarships and the achievements of Alumni students cannot be found easily.
