About NID Kurukshetra
National Institute of Design Haryana was established in 2016 by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. NID Kurukshetra is an institute of national importance that imparts education in the stream of Animation and Design.
NID Kurukshetra offers full-time B.Des programmes in three different specialisations. The courses at NID Haryana courses are in Communication Design, Industrial Design and Textile and Apparel Design branches. Admission to NID Haryana is based on the scores obtained in the NID Design Aptitude Test (NID DAT), which is a combined aptitude test conducted by the National Institute of Design. Students who meet the cutoff requirements of the course should register for the NID DAT counselling process.

NID Haryana offers scholarships, grants and awards to the students from meritorious and economically weaker backgrounds. National Institute of Design Haryana scholarships are awarded to the students with a purpose to celebrate the candidate's excellence in academics as well provided with an aim that the student does not leave his/ her education, due to lack of financial support. NID Haryana awards various meritorious students enrolled and the high ranking candidates in the NID DAT exams admitted in the university. To apply for the NID Haryana scholarship, the applicant must meet eligibility criteria, to be awarded the scholarship amount.

NID Kurukshetra Admission
National Institute of Design Haryana admissions are offered for Bachelor of Design, in various specialisations. NID Kurukshetra admissions are offered for duration of four years with a specified seat intake. To get the NID Haryana admissions the candidates must meet the eligibility criteria.
Before applying for NID Kurukshetra admissions the candidates should appear for the NID DAT entrance examination and cutoff required of the course. Candidates must meet the B.Des eligibility criteria.
They must qualify for the NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Prelims and NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Mains.
A merit list will be prepared based on the scores obtained by the applicant in DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.
Applicants who meet the college cutoff must appear for NID DAT counselling and give preference to NID Haryana.

College Infrastructure
Our college is under construction but hostels are done.We are currently in a transit campus.Basic facilities like labs ,library, sports and hostels are there but there is room for improvement .Food is decent.

College Infrastructure
The official main campus is still under construction. IT labs are well equipped and maintained, but access is limited to standard working hours. The workshop is usually well supplied with standard raw materials required for models, but lacks machines and some of the protective gear.
