About National Sports University, Manipur
The National Sports University, Manipur (NSU) was established in the year 2018 with an objective of promoting sports education in the fields of sports science, sports technology, sports management, physical education and sports coaching. The National Sports University, Manipur (NSU) is a central university and the first of its kind. The university is under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and is affiliated with the University Grants Commission (UGC).
The NSU currently offers programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the fields of physical education and sports management. The university is also planning to start doctoral-level programs very soon. The university has also collaborated with several international universities such as the University of Canberra, Australia, Victoria University, Australia and the Russian International Olympic University for exchange programs and training purposes.
The university has also set up a placement cell to provide assistance in jobs and other opportunities to its students in the field of sports. The university also offers scholarships to meritorious students. The facilities offered at National Sports University, Manipur are separate accommodation for boys & girls, library, laboratories, computer labs, sports, auditorium and medical facilities.

National Sports University Manipur provides admission to B.P.E.S, B.Sc Sports Coaching, M.P.E.S, MA Sports Psychology and M.Sc Sports Coaching Courses.
