Pandit S.N. Shukla University, Shahdol (PTSNS University) is a State University established in the year 2016 as per ACT No. Namely, Hazrath Shahjehan Begum Girls’ Post Graduate College of Tilhar and Shahdol based MPEB Colony provide a campus for education with various programs, degrees in Arts & Humanities, Sciences, Languages, Commerce, Management, Computer Applications. It has a huge campus area of 26 acres with total student enrollment of 7340 and occupies a total faculty of 58. Delivering accredited 112courses across 16degree programs, the institution offers various specialisations at diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate as well as doctorallevels.

It also has various resources such as halls, facilities for students’ activities and services as well as academicians for student success. These are spacious and well endowed classrooms, Hostel facilities for boys and girls, an Auditorium and a well stocked library. The campus has computerized laboratories and other facilities like internet facilities for the students. For the students there is a cafeteria to ensure they get healthy foods and needed accommodations includes guest rooms for visitors. The University also has laboratories for purposes of practical training and research. Social Activities lovers and sports personnel will benefit from the available playground that allows them to practice different exercises and foster team exercising.

Overall, PTSNS University teaches and trains students in one hundred and twelve separate courses within different levels of academic programs. These comprise full course programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels, diploma and certificated programs. Currently the university has variety of courses for the students giving them the best chance to follow their preference. As much as we don’t get specific information regarding the total number of seats for all the courses then to note that programs such as B.Sc Computer Science has an approved intake of One hundred and sixty five students hence pointing the fact that the university is capable of hosting a large number of students.

Admissions are generally merit and institute level entrance test based for most of the courses offered. The university provides diverse courses in the faculties of Arts, Science & Commerce, Languages, Business Management & Computer Applications at Diploma, Graduate, Post Graduate & Doctoral levels.
