I got 525 rank in pu cet pg 2019 (Msc Physics) and I belong to ST category...... Any chance for admission in PU????

Hi,
Punjab University had conducted its first graduation entrance exam. Currently the results are out. Firstly i would like to congratulate you on getting a results and passing the exam. Speaking of the cutoff, I couldn't find any specific cutoff for this year although it has been released by the University itself. But speaking of last year the cutoff for reserved categories was 15% of the total marks. So it should be similar this year also. so check your results and calculate the percentage of your marks with the total marks and depending on that the cutoff will vary. if you still have any doubt I would advise you to contact University itself and ask them for the cutoff.

Since you did not take admission on the date you were supposed to i guess your admission would have been cancelled (if there rae no vacant seats left in that particular course). It would be wise if you get in touch with someone holding an important post in PU itself.You can call them at

I got 34.25 in pu llb 3 yr entrance and 68% in BA is there any chance to get admission in pu chd campus

Hey.
Considering your score in entrance exam is 34.25 and that your Graduation score is 68% you seem to have a less chances for admission in Chandigarh campus.
There are 300 seats each for LLB in the Chandigarh campus, 60 each in regional centres.
So considering the fact that your entrance rank is quite average but your graduation marks are quite average too so your chances seem less. There are not much chances for Chandigarh campus but better chances for regional centres. Try for the regional centres in the subsequent counselling. Sowait for the final ranks to be out for a better estimate.

Considering your rank in entrance exam is 456and that your boards exam score is 96.8% you seem to have a good chances for admission in UILS, Chandigarh. Even though your rank in entrance is average but as your boards score is really good it balances out as both scores are equally important because of 50% weightage for each.
There are 120 seats each for BALLB and BCOM LLB in the Chandigarh campus, 60 each in regional centres. So for the Chandigarh campus if your rank in the BA LLB merit list after combination of both scores is uner 150-180 you'll have a fair chance in the first counselling itself.
And with your rank and marks in boards your chances seem good.

Considering your score in entrance exam is 40.5 and that your Graduation score is 79.69% you seem to have a good chances for admission in PU considering that you belong to the BC category. Your combined merit score would be around 60 without adding any weightage if any.

When will the councelling be held for pg courses in pu?

Dear student, earlier the counselling process was scheduled to begin in the first week of July itself. As the date for filling the online form was extended till July 10, the date of counselling also have been shifted. There has been no official announcement regarding this.

Hello Henry,

In Punjab University, Chandigarh, the admission procedure for LLb involves several steps.

You first need to fill the application form.

Admit cards will be generated for the Entrance exam which is conducted in the offline mode.

Once the exam is done, the answer key is declared after a few days. Students can object to any of the answers in the answer key if they feel is incorrect.

The results are declared and then the cut-off list if generated based on which the selection of candidates is done.

i have scored 313 rankin pu entrance exam for integrated course for chemistry, geology and physics.can i get admission in that university?

Hello Anita,

With your rank in the entrance exam of Panjab University for the integrated chemistry, geology course, you have some good chances of procuring a seat. The probability is split in the case but still the weight is on your side. The course also have good demand in Panjab University and so is your rank. So best of luck.

According to my opinion BA LLB is better from PUNJAB UNIVERSITY than INDRAPRASTHA UNIVERSITY as the course have the value and you will get many facilities there. like you will get internship provide by the college at the time of it. all the best have a great future ahead.

College Infrastructure

Poornima University the infrastructure available are well furnished room, smart class with letest projector, good available books on library, The hostel facilities are good the fooding is fully veg and good hostel rooms attached bathroom, large eating hall, 4 mini canteen available.

my experience in this college is quite well.

College Infrastructure

the infrastructure is currently under construction, the lifts do not work so it is an average when it comes to infrastructure. the food is hygienic, wifi does work sometimes, libraries are quite good and spacious.

The overall experience is well good

Yes in my college every teaching quipments are available and have high speed wifi with smart boards and the food is amazing and the living space is so comfortable with greenary around every corner makes feel good
