Admissions are given by merit in Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Director of Medical Education and Research, Government of Maharashtra, Mumbai. Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) graduate degree awarded after the study of five and a half years duration, including 1-year internship, the course offered by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and approved by Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM).

Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Pune is a private College in Maharashtra established in the year 1933. The college offers BAMS program and offers 100 seats for the course.

Admission to the program is done on the basis of NEET Examination. All the students who have qualified the NEET examination are eligible for admission in the college.


------ The admission procedure involves participating in Counseling conducted by AACCC that is Ayush Admissions Counseling Conducting Committee. Students need to register themselves on the official website of AACCC to participate in counseling. The link of the website is as following -

------ Also since the Supreme Court has allowed the Counseling to begin for various courses, the counseling for Ayush will begin very soon.

You can go fill up the form and submit all the documents to the college and if someone for the merit list chooses not to take admission in the college you will then have a high chance to get the seat in return, but if all the students form the merit list choose to take the admission in the college the I am afraid that you will not be given the seat even if you are ready to pay the fees and you have submitted all the documents and details necessary for the admission.

Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery- BAMS is a 5 year degree programme that is designed to study the integrated system of modern medicine and traditional Ayurveda. The eligibility criteria for pursuing this course is as following-

The students should have passed 10+2 with Biology with minimum 50%.
