About Purnea University, Purnia
Purnea University, Purnia is a state university that was established in 2016 under the Bihar State University Act. It was formed to cater to the needs of higher education in the Purnea Division spread over four districts namely Purnea, Araria, Kishanganj, and Katihar. Purnea University comprises 15 constituent colleges, and 19 affiliated colleges.
Purnea University, Purnia is a state university and has been approved by UGC. This institution is respected for offering programs like B.Com, B.A.(Hons), B.Sc , B.Com (Hons), BCA, MA, M.Com and more in the fields of business and management studies, information technology and software, hospitality and travel, and humanities and social sciences.
