Raichur University is a state university affiliated with Raichur and was established in the year 2020. This is one of the youngest higher institutions which is located in Jnanatunga Campus, Yaragera. It is accredited with the University Grants Commission (UGC) which makes it compliant with the national standards of education. The campus assures a favourable environment required for learning and development.

Raichur University has many resources available and built especially to provide for the university’s student needs. Its library is also a knowledge centre that provides materials for academics studying within the institution. The institution boasts of good Information Technology, thus, the student has flow in the technological aspects for their study. Departmental based laboratories are essential because they afford practical learning. For physical development, the university provides the sports facilities that can develop body fitness and teamwork.
