Hello aspirant,

Yes, you have fair chances to get the RGNUL in the second/third/fourth round. Previous year closing ranks show that the cut off rank for round 2 is around 1300 and that for round 3 and 4 is around 1000 for the All India Unreserved Category.

All the best!

Hello Umesh,

It is very likely that your rank might fit the cutoff in the third list if enough seats are vacant. But even still, keep looking for other colleges to keep your options open. Make sure you don't miss out on a seat in any college which you might be eligible for.

All the Best!

Hello umesh,

RGNUL is quite good better than some newer NLU's and way better than most of the private colleges providing 5 year integrated BALLB programme, its ranking is under 10-15 for the top law colleges in india,RGNUL library is quite good. To begin with its automated, and along with a vast plethora of books across every discipline you could imagine as a humanities student, it has an air-conditioned reading room with separate cabins , mooting culture is growing in the college,it has really good infrastructure and sports facilities, so RGNUL is quite good decent in  terms of acadmeics, extracurriculars etc.

Hope this helps

Hey Varun.
There are around 18 seats for candidates with Punjab Domicile for admission in RGNUL Patiala. In the previous year 2018 the seats in this category filled at a rank of 1080. As per previous year trends has been around the range of 1300. So with a rank of 1600 the chances seem less. Also, if you were not alloted RGNUL in the first list, chances for allotment in this particular category in subsequent list are a little less, but you cannot negate the chances all together.  But this is just an estimate and it would depend on various factors  like number of punjab domiciled students ranked above you.
Best of luck!

Dear aspirant,
According to previous years cut off analysis which is subjective as cut off ranks change every year depending upon a no of factors such as no of applicants, clat difficulty this year etc etc so nothing can be predicted with 100% sureity, for general category cut off last year was around 924 for rnlu patiala from general category i am assuming it to be general since you have not mentioned any specific category, also no of seats available for UR category is 133 analysising this data acc to previous years analysis you might not have a chance at rnlu, gandhinagar for ug programme .

Hope this helps

Hey.
There are around 18 seats reserved for admission in RGNUL Patiala for the candidates with Punjab Domicile. According to previous year trends the admisison based of Punjab Domicile for the general category starts around an All India rank of 900-1000 and ends around an All India rank of around 1400-1500. Considering that your rank is 1583 your chances for admission in RGNUL under the State domicile seems to be fair. You seem to be on the borderline. Hope for the best!

Hi Harsh,

Your score is really good and you have a good chance of making it to RGNLU. You may also get RMLNLU and NLU Kochi. Considering your marks and the previous year trend and especially the cut off for the year 2016 you may secure a rank in the range of 1000-1500.
