Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice, Jodhpur was established by the government of Rajasthan in the year 2012. SPUP Jodhpur is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The mission of SPUP Jodhpur is to create an academic center for excellence dedicated to the study, research, and extension activities in the realm of Policing, Security, and Criminal Justice. 

A few courses offered at the SPUP Jodhpur include Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Ph.D courses. Before applying to SPUP courses, candidates are required to match the required eligibility criteria. Apart from that, candidates should have a valid scorecard of the relevant entrance exams such as CUET and GATE. SPSU Jodhpur admission will be offered on the basis of candidates' performance in the entrance test and in the qualifying exam. The course duration and fee structure vary. Final admission will be granted after the selection process round and document verification. 

SPSU Jodhpur has its own training and placement cell to organise campus placements. The placement cell also provides training and courses to students from different nationalities. Apart from that, SPSU Jodhpur offers all the facilities to their students which include separate accommodations for boys and girls, a well-equipped library, and IT facilities.
