The programme revolves around equipping students with a deep understanding of all the types of biotechnology processes, including both classical and modern methods. It trains students in detecting and mapping genes, discovering their functions, breed them, and transfer them for developing specific traits into plants where they are needed.

Eligibility Criteria
B.Tech. in Biotechnology Biomedical Engg. B.Pharma with minimum 60% marks.
M.Sc. in Biotechnology Agriculture Genetics Molecular Biology Physiology Life Sciences (Botany Zoology Biochemistry Microbiology Medicinal Chemistry) with minimum 60% marks. GATE/NET qualified students shall be preferred.
For International Students - The eligibility criterion for all programs for international applicants is minimum 50% in the qualifying examination and having studied the pre-requisite subjects for admission in to the desired program.
