SKIMS Srinagar Facilities

Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Srinagar offers many facilities to the students, faculty, and staff. SKIMS Srinagar facilities include residential facilities, medical facilities, IT infrastructure, library, sports facilities, and many other facilities. The college provides separate hostels for boys and girls. The library of the SKIMS Soura provides students with many academic resources to help them with their studies.

Online resources are also provided to the students by the college library which includes resources like e-books, e-journals, and online databases. Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Srinagar facilities also include various sports infrastructure. An IT infrastructure is also part of SKIMS Srinagar campus facilities. Details of SKIMS Soura facilities are given below.

Boys Hostel
The college provides residential accommodation to boys. All basic facilities are provided to the students. Furnished rooms are provided to the students.
Girls Hostel
Accommodation is also provided to girls by the college. The hostel facilities include security, continuous water and electricity supply, recreational facilities, etc.
Medical/Hospital
A health centre is present on campus. It caters to all the medical needs of the students, faculty, and staff of the college.
Library
Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Srinagar facilities include a library. The library has many textbooks, reference books, journals, magazines, e-books, CDs, DVDs and other academic resources. Online services are also provided by the college. LIBSYS is the software used by the library. 10:00 am to 9:00 pm is the library timings.
Sports
SKIMS Srinagar provides a large number of sports facilities to the students. This includes fields and grounds for various outdoor games.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has the latest and modern IT infrastructure facilities.
Auditorium
The college auditorium is used by the students and faculty to conduct various activities and functions. It is equipped with an LCD projector, slide projector, and overhead projector.

can i persue b. sc cardiology from skims as I have qualified diploma in ecg

Hello,

BSc Cardiology is a 3-year undergraduate degree in the allied specialisation in Medicine. You can opt for the course after 12th Science stream. Make sure you fulfill the eligibility criteria, apart from your diploma course.

You can pursue B.Sc. from Kashmir University or from any other recognized Institute having at least 60% marks, for M.Sc. course. B.Sc. in Medical Technology is awarded by SKIMS or any other Govt. recognized Institution also. So take note on the courses by visiting the official website.
