    My experience

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

One of the best infrastructure of the whole city and also it comes as a best in class in the whole state in terms of its infrastructure. yes it has all the facilities and necessary equipment present in its laboratories and classrooms with Wifi enabled campus and also smart boards are installed and living spaces are clean.

    Academics

I completed my B.tech in Electronics and communications and the quality of teaching was very nice and it was up to the mark as required for an engineer all the methods and course curriculum was followed as described by the UGC and AICTE, curriculum was updated each year with the best of interest.

    Placements

Placements were good only, all the top companies did visited the campus with an average placement of around 3.5 lacs per annum most of the students got the jobs. around 75% of students who opted for placements were placed and the process was easy and pleasant. college was very supportive and helped in each and every way.

    Value for Money

we had a tuition fee of rs 85000 each semester which makes it 170000 per year, except this there was small fees for examination and registration, yes it was value for money as we got a job which was more than what we spent per year.

    Campus Life

There are many cultural and social activities in which a student can engage, there are also many fests and celebration throughout the year.

    Others

my experience was very nice i love my btech time as it gave me a lot of good memories and great friends for life.

    It was nice reviewing

    College Infrastructure

College has all infrastructure. Library is really facinating. Classroom is good and well maintained and hostel has all the facilities like wifi , etc . There is facility for indoor sports but no facility for outdoor games

    Academics

I am CSE undergrad student at ITER (Campus 1) and it has a massive oportunity thereafter for research work and I can surely say that knowledge imparted here beneficial. We really follow a updated syllabus and its job oriented.

    Placements

If you talk about placement at ITER then definitely you have a very good chances of getting one of the best packages in the town. Average salary offered is around 3.5 lpa to 4lpa. College is supportive in terms of placement.

    Value for Money

It costs around 3 lakhs per annum including tuition fees , hostel and mess fees. I feel the fee is quite high as compared to other institute in the town. The type of facility and academics is quite good but not in compliance with fee.

    Campus Life

The campus is quite good though its very small. It has got one of the best library in the town. The faculties are quite supportive and students even love to help each other. The location of the campus is perfect. Its near to railway station as well as airport and its safe. It has got many hospitals nearby.

    Others

Finally I can sum up saying that its good to study and explore in this campus. It has got an overall good infrastructure and placement percentage is quite high here with good and enjoyable life. Neaby hotels and restraunts are very good.

    College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is very Good. It has approx 452 acres of land and 127 acres of campus with 197 (175 e-Enabled) class room. college has a big play ground, gym, auditorium , library, canteen etc.

    Academics

i am studying computer science and engineering, because there is huge market of IT sector in India and getting job in this field is much easier than other branches . college is strictly following syllabus as per UGC guideline, and by my opinion the syllabus is perfectly fine the teach us what we need and we are going to implement in our future.

    Placements

placement is very good in my college. as i am in 2nd year so i am watching my seniors are placed in good company and getting good packages. i think my 70-80% of my seniors are placed this year. The highest packages was 30 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA and the average package was 5LPA. the college is very supportive in the placement they prepare students for placements from 3rd year onward.

    Value for Money

Since i am a b.tech student so my course duration is 4 year. and per year my fee is 2,35,000. and 80,000 hostel fee. i think its worth it as my private college is taking around 12L .

    Campus Life

campus life is not so good as they did not conduct freshers or farewell just one college event in a year.but overall day to day college life is very good.

    Others

if you want to study really well then this place is for you. but if you want that your college will conduct events and fests and you will enjoy college life then sorry this college is not for you.

ITER,Siksha O' Anusandhan, The perfect college for dreamers

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is good but laboratory should be separate from the main block. Besides every building every block is distant from another which makes the campus way more friendly to reach. Rooms are well cleaned too.

    Academics

Curriculum is pretty good and the teachers are also cooperative. The syllabus however has been changing constantly every 2 years. In my opinion syllabus must not be varying so regularly and class duration mist be of 1 hour only.

    Placements

Placements have been pretty good this year.Almost 150 companies came to visit us and they recruited almost 1600 students from our college. Even now only other companies are coming to visit us and recruit other students.

    Value for Money

In my admission year the course fee was 1.98 lacs for one year. Now it has been increased and it is 2.29 lacs. But taking to consideration the placements have been really good. so i think value for money is there.

    Others

Finally would like the locality of the college to have improved because it is way too crowded for an engineering college. The college staff behaviour and management is pretty good and they have concerns for their students. That is what makes this college a perfect one.

    College Infrastructure

My college's infrastructure is better than other colleges and the cleanliness i will give 4.9/5.College has all those clubs rooms and libraries facilitites, except wifi which is provided by other college at whole campus

    Academics

In terms of academics, let me make you clear, all the teachers are qualified from IIT and their style of teaching is good.If a student is facing problem in studies he can visit teacher's chamber to make him/her self clear

    Placements

Placement is the main part of all the private colleges.Let me make you clear that this college give good placement and big companies like microsoft,IBM,Infosys come to recruit.Packages are also good between 3-7lac

    ITER Review

    College Infrastructure

Yes.The infrastructure of the college is very good with well maintained laboratories and library and a E-library..The campus has a free access to wifi for all the students. The hostel food is not so good..The sport centers are well developed..

    Academics

The curriculum is updated but the quality of study is not so good. But if you are in cse or csit then the faculties are good and sincere for the class. The study makes you job - ready as in the 6th semester they shedule a special class as pre placement class.

    Placements

The quality of placement is good as companies like Microsoft , Amazon,Voltas , Mahindra visited campus. The placement for cse and csit students is plenty. But if u are studying in core branches then don't expect much.

    Value for Money

Value for money is not up to the mark.

    Campus Life

Campus Life is good as you have no restrictions..

    Reality check

    College Infrastructure

It does provides you the basic facilities and yes a very neat and clean environment and a good library ,the sports complex is there too ,an indoor one but very biased when it comes to girls and juniors...they hardly give you time to play, smart board ...i have never saw it working in our class, food is ok but a bit oily at the canteen. Overall things are averagely well maintained .

    Academics

The faculties are helpful, but not all are ,many of teachers keep grudges but at the same time you will find really great faculty as well who will help to learn and grow. The curriculum is well updated every year and a good curriculum as well.Quality of teaching varies from teacher to teacher so ya fingers crossed.

    Placements

As you so..... so you reap..... but the faculties prepare you good enough rest is in your hands how much you work on yourself. But the number is quite great and again the package depends on you.so if you work hard you are going to get a good campus.

    Value for Money

less than quiet private collages.....and i'm getting halfway of my moneys worth.

    Campus Life

Clubs clubs clubs ........apart from that workshops and year along events.....some of them are hardly useful .....students are your perspective of seeing them ,staff is ok location is good ,stalls, stationary shops ...quite a street. yes handles all kinds of emergency...maintains the minimum decorum.

    Others

Wanted a degree ....going to get one.

A really great atmosphere to read engineering in Bbsr .

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

I.T.E.R. which comes under the S'O'A , is a great college to read in . The infrastructure of the college is very well maintained . The facilities and equipment provided for the academic purposes are always updated according to the requirements . The Classes have central AC all over the rooms . The hostels are clean and are provided with WiFi of speed upto 100 mbps . Due to rapid construction of classroom buildings and hostel very less area is left for sports activities .

    Academics

I opted for CSE in ITER as i have a deep interest in computer science . And being a computer and mobile enthusiast i know what i want to do in this Btech course of 4 years . The quality of teaching is already well knowed around India . It is one of the top 30 colleges in India . The curriculum keeps up with the modern day courses and also the teachers are well trained to handle all the equipment in the labs.

    Placements

S'O'A is well known for bringing vast opportunities for the students of the college. Not only the college bring well known recruiters but also provides the chance to study abroad for higher education . Around 90% of the students get job via campus placement . The average salary varies company to company starting from 3 L.P.A to much more .

    Value for Money

The batch of 2018-2022 course fee is around 2.2 L.P.A . I believe the money is getting it's worth as the college promises to provide the best to it's students and bring as many job offers at the end of their course.

    Campus Life

The best feature will be the food quality in both the canteen and the food court . As compared to any other college in and around Bhubaneswar , our college offers the best in that . Moreover , it has it's own restaurant in the college itself. The worst feature would be the staff in offices and their services which is not to the mark and they would make you run so much to make your work done on time . And as for the question of safety , the college is really strict for it's safety in campus .

    Iter college review

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is very good with ample amount of space. The labs are spacious with enough equipments for every student. The classrooms and laboratories are very good in condition. The library has a separate floor for the students doing startup. There are many clubs for different sports especially basketball is in good shape.Free wifi and good food is being provided in college.

    Academics

I am studying mechanical engineering in 2nd year. The quality of teaching varries from subject to subject abd depends upon the teacher. The curriculum is updated. The technical clubs in iter are very good. The sae club is the best.

    Placements

The quality of placement is extremely good for CSE and CS-IT students where in othere the placement for core branches like Mechanical and CIVIL is worst.Companies like Microsoft,Amazon,IBM,Cognizant came for placement this year.

    Value for Money

It costs us around 2.3 lakhs per year. But the value for money is not up to the mark.

    Campus Life

The best thing about campus is its cleanliness. Now we have a new food court inagurated in the campus with a restaurant, cafes and a canteen.

    Others

My experience in college is good. But they need to pay more attention to the core branches.

Have a question related to Siksha 'O' Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar ?

    Dear Aspirant,

    SOA:-

Placements: Majority of students placed during the campus placement in the college. The highest package was around 21LPA (Lacs per annum) and average package was around 4.5LPA for last year. Top recruiting companies are like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant etc. Campus Placements is good in this college.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are quite decent in this college. Wi-Fi is present in the campus of college. Library is a multistorey building consists of E-library, Computer lab etc. Quality of facilities is good enough in the hostels. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is good. Medical facilities is available for 24hrs for the students.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable too. Their teaching quality is very good. Some of teachers taught in this way as we are school student and teach us in that nicely manner. The course curriculum is very relevant and also it makes the student industry ready. Semester exams are not so much difficult in this college.
