Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib was established in 2011. The college offers a total of 94 courses at diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The SGGSWU admissions are offered in the streams of Sciences, Engineering and Architecture, Management and Business Administration, Medicine and Allied Sciences, Law, Computer Application and IT, Education and many more. The SGGSWU offers scholarship opportunities to students. Students can take advantage of a variety of facilities and job placement opportunities at the college. SGGSWU Admissions 

The university offers admissions to diploma courses based on the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination. The SGGSWU admissions for some UG and PG courses are done based on performance in the entrance examination (JEE Main/ GATE/MAT/CMAT) while other courses are based on performance in the qualifying examination.

SGGSWU Scholarships 

The deserving students receive financial aid from the university. For individuals who cannot afford to complete their education, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Global University offers scholarships. The college offers six different kinds of scholarships. The SGGSWU scholarships include the Guru Granth Sahib Scholarship Programme, the Scholarship and Fee Waiver Programme for Meritorious Students, Minority Community Scholarships, the Post-Matric Scholarship Programme for Students for Scheduled Castes, the Post-Matric Scholarship Programme for Students from Other Backward Classes, and the UGC Special Scholarship for Jammu and Kashmir Students.

The university is located opposite Jyoti Sarup Gurudwara, Fatehgarh Sahib. Within two kilometres of the campus lies the Fatehgarh Sahib Train Station. At a distance of 48 kilometres from the campus, the closest airport is Chandigarh International Airport. About 6 kilometres from the campus, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Bus Terminal is the closest bus stop.
