Botany is a basic science and is of the foundation for most of the modern subjects like, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology which deals with plant life. It encourages the rapidly developing fields like Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, Tissue Culture, Phytomedicine, Biochemistry and Horticulture.


Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have B.Sc Degree, Botany with chemistry/Biochemistry As Compulsory subjects and with 50% of marks on an average in the group.
