Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Sports University (SSASU) with its root from the year 2020 is a state university situated in Dibrugarh, Assam. It is among the co-educational institution with focus on sports education on Arts/Humanities, Social Sciences and Education. SSASU is recognised by the UGC and is one of the few universities that offers a particularly specialised area of study in sports. At present, the university teaches one courses across one degrees and has a faculty of 3 staff members.

SSASU possesses means and provisions aimed to enrich the student experience. These are independent hostels of boys and girls, providing the students with standard accommodation. SSASU offers one fully accredited competitively priced courses of study. The course in Bachelor of Physical Education Honours is an undergraduate course of four-years’ duration. This specialised course aims at benefiting student who want to pursue careers in sporting activities as well as physical education.
