Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Vedanga and Research Publications shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned


Eligibility Criteria

A candidate possessing Acharya (P.G.) level educational qualification from a recognized University/Institution with 55% of Marks in any subject in which the courses are offered by S.V.Vedic University is eligible to seek admission into Vidyavaridhi course. Normally, a student will be eligible to pursue his research in the field which he has passed Acharya level examination . In special circumstances, the candidates can be allowed to work in allied subjects with reference to the field of his specialization at the Acharya level examination.
