Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University is a public university inaugurated by the then honourable chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Dr.Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy in 2005. The varsity is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and NAAC. It is also known as SVVU Tirupati. The courses offered in SVVU Tirupati are available full-time in offline mode.
As per the official website of Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, its mission is to facilitate sustainable growth and development of livestock and allied sectors by building competent human resources. The SVVU Tirupati offers a total of 33 courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. College Infrastructure
The best library in Tirupati,with all books available, reading halls, computer centers, and top-notch Wi-Fi. Hostels are great and super affordable (not more than 25,000, including food and living). A very good hospital is there, and sports facilities are all present, but the annual sports meet is a bit dull and less popular.
