12 MonthsPost Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Sports Management is a one-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma course offered by Swarnim Gujarat Sports University, Gandhinagar.
A candidate seeking admission to P.G. Diploma in Sports Management Program must satisfy the following conditions.
1. He/She must be between the age group of 18-30 years. Any person who conforms to the desired age group and is not suffering from any ailment is eligible for the course. A relaxation in age could be given in exceptional cases.
2. A bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Swarnim Gujarat Sports University or a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Health & Physical Education or a degree in management or a degree in sports from any recognized University/Institution.
Or
Any bachelor’s degree with a certificate course in Sports or Management from any recognized institute;
Or
Any bachelor’s degree with Physical Education as an elective subject and participation in National or State Inter-University competitions in sports or games or athletics recognized by the Association of Indian Universities or Indian Olympic Association; or Any bachelor’s degree and having participation in National or State or Inter-University Sports or games or athletics; Or Any bachelor’s degree with certificate course in Sports from any recognized institute or any bachelor’s degree with participation in at least one Adventure Sports activity from any recognized institute.
3. He/She must pass the Physical Fitness Test conducted by the University.
