Telangana University, Nizamabad was established in 2006. Interested aspirants are offered courses at two different levels. Telangana University offers courses at Undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Telangana University has been approved by NAAC and UGC. Courses are offered in the fields of Law, Pharmacy, Management and Business administration, Sciences, Humanities, and Social Sciences.

 Telangana University Nizamabad courses include L.L.B., Dual Degree., B.Ed., L.L.M., M.Ed., M.A., M.Sc., M.B.A., M.S.W., M.Com., and M.C.A. Aspirants are given admission into the courses based on the marks acquired by the students in the TUCET/OU common entrance exam. Aspirants are advised to acquire minimum marks in the entrance exam. Candidates have to obtain valid ranks in the entrance examination to secure seats. Candidates can apply for Telangana University by visiting the official website. Students meeting the prerequisites as prescribed by the institute are eligible to apply for TU Nizamabad admissions. 

Telangana University scholarships are offered with various National Merit Scholarships, State Merit Scholarships, Scheduled caste Scholarships, Economically poor person scholarships, and listed backward class scholarships are some of the TU Nizamabad scholarships which are offered for the eligible students. TU Nizamabad placement cell conducts mock aptitude tests, mock interviews and other works shops and training sessions to get placed. Every year top recruiters such as Wipro, ICICI Prudential, Deloitte, and others visit the campus to conduct recruitment drives. Gym, separate hostels for Boys and Girls, and guest/waiting rooms are some of the facilities provided at the university.
