The placement cell at Tumkur University also invites corporate industries, research or academic institutes, commercial organisations to conduct campus placements. As per the Tumkur University NIRF reports of 2024, 115 PG students were placed by Tumkur University placement cell with an average salary of Rs 7.83 lakhs

• Organizing both on-campus and off-campus interviews.

• Personality development programmes, mock aptitude tests, group discussion training, and mock interviews are some of the Tumkur University placement training programmes.

• Industrial visits are being coordinated.

• Coordination of project placement for students over the course of a semester or a year.

• Supporting technical seminars, conferences, workshops, and other events held by various departments.

• Organizing workshops/meetings for students with significant corporations.

• Organizing Faculty Development Programmes (FDP) in partnership with companies, and so on.
