12 MonthsOne Year LL.M. (Master of Laws) Degree Programme of United University is a full time regular course. The University has established a Centre for Post-Graduate Legal Studies (CPGLS) which is a dedicated team of senior teachers competent to guide post-graduate scholars. The course is of One year duration evenly spread in the credits and consisting of two semesters. The aspirants can avail opportunity to pursue this pioneering post-graduation programme in two prominent specializations that the University offers. A student enrolled under a particular specialized subjects group will have to undergo compulsory, core and elective courses. Term Research Paper, Tutelage, Clinical Legal Education, Dissertation and Viva-Voce are the other components of the LL.M. Degree Programme.
The basic objective of the program is to instill advanced legal approach to understandthe complex socio-legal issues and also, to develop vital methodological understandingofcarrying a doctrinal research.

Applicant must have 3 years Law Degree or 5 Years Integrated Law Degree from any recognized University with minimum 50% (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC & ST category). Further a candidate will have to appear for the University’s law Admission test for admission in postgraduate programme.
