Death is unavoidable, but just how we die presents numerous challenges. We are living much longer and yet dying more slowly as our population ages. As a result, new ideas about end-of-life care are emerging in various contexts. You will learn about the patterns and global trends in palliative care and investigate such innovative techniques from a humanities and social science standpoint.
