Master of Philosophy (MPhil) is a Full-time one-year postgraduate research program and it is offered by the University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad.


Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have passed the Master’s degree in Anthropology with at least 55% marks; OR Master’s degree in an allied subject with at least 60% marks (Allied subjects: Sociology, Social Work, Social & Preventive Medicine, Public Health, History, Political Science, Economics, Archaeology, Linguistics, Environmental Sciences and Developmental Studies including Rural and Regional Development).

Note: Candidates should have PG degree in English medium only.

Admission Details

Admissions are made through the Entrance Exam and interview conducted by the university.
