Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time Doctoral program and it is offered by the University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.


Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have passed the Master’s degree with 55% marks in Biotechnology or in a closely related area/ MSc Systems Biology/5- year Integrated MSc in Systems Biology/Biology or related areas OR an MBBS/ M. Tech. Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/, M. Pharm, MVSc with a minimum of 55% marks.

Admission Details

Admissions are made through the Entrance Exam and interview conducted by the university.
