Eligibility Criteria

Education

The food and Nutrition certification course by Swayam NPTEL has the criteria that the applicants need to be undergraduates of Agricultural and Food Engineering branches. The students pursuing Agricultural Engineering and Food Engineering are eligible for this course. This may include students and undergraduates from universities all over India. There are no other prerequisites mandatory to enrol in this course.

Certification Qualifying Details

Internal exam marks are determined from assignments and assessments conducted during the term. This accounts for 30 percent of the overall result.

The end term examination will pose 100 questions. This accounts for 70 percent of the overall result. Scoring a minimum of 40 percent in the in-course assessment and a minimum of 40 percent in the end term proctored exam, separately, is essential to be eligible for credit transfer and a certificate.
