Course Overview

The Embedded Systems - Shape The World: Multi-Threaded Interfacing program emphasizes making you understand how electronic gadgets are developed, designed, and built as an embedded system in the real world. It is a hands-on, learn-by-doing course that extensively covers interrupts and how you can use them to create a range of real-time systems, an audio player, an interactive game, a control system, etc.

It will begin with simple approaches to problem-solving and gradually progress from simple interfacing to complex concepts such as motor control, analogue to digital conversion and vice versa, graphics, communications, and much more. Embedded Systems Multi-Threaded Interfacing by edX will teach candidates the conceptual principles and practical tips circuit building on the microcontroller using the C programming language.

Candidates will also develop debugging skills like logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and software instrumentation. At the end of the Embedded Systems - Shape the World: Multi-Threaded Interfacing online course, candidates will learn how to build an arcade-style game from scratch.

The students may choose any one of the tracks available namely verified and audit to complete the programme. Both the tracks are self-paced but during the audit track, the candidates will get limited period access to the course. On the other hand, the verified track offers unlimited time for accessing the course.
