Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya in Pundibari, West Bengal, was established in 2000. It is a state university providing education in the fields of Agriculture Sciences. UBKV Pundibari offers a wide range of programmes including a B.Sc Agriculture, B.Sc Horticulture and a B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering, as well as various M.Sc and PhD courses in Agricultural Sciences and related fields. 

Students must pass the WBJEE entrance exam for B.Tech Agricultural Engineering admission at UBKV Pundibari. For admission to M.Sc courses, students must pass the university-level entrance examination. UBKV Pundibari has a dedicated placement cell that organises campus recruitment drives for students and helps the students get hired by private or public organisations.
