Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering is a four years full-time course. Offered by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow and approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/Entrepreneurship.(Any of the three)

Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together

Passed min. 3 years Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

(The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the programme).

Lateral Entry-

Passed Minimum THREE years / TWO years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology.

Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.

Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector. (The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the programme)

Admission Details

Through Counseling:

• 85% seats of total approved intake will be filled through Counseling (based on the JEE main ranks).

Procedure: The announcement will be done by the affiliating University (AKTU)

Through Management Quota:

• 15% seats will be offered to the eligible candidates through direct admissions based on the guidelines of affiliating University (AKTU) and as per the College policy.

Procedure: The candidate has to apply online through the institute's website. Institute will offer seats to the candidate as per the guidelines of AKTU and the college policy.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is very good, and all faclities are avalable on campus, W-fiis enabled and ais conditioners are available in the classrooms. Hostel fadlities are available. M also provides fields for sports. The food serves in the mess is very good.

It was a very good experience.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is good and provides proper facility during the entire course. Such as labs, Books , etc. Also proper stadium for foot ball and other games is also available. Proper hostel facility is also availabe.

The overall experience of mine was good and you can join it

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is little too old but good....All the facilities and equipments are in working condition. It has good wifi service. The food in the hostel is hygiene and can be eaten. Everything is well maintained.
