Abhilashi College of Education, Mandi is one of the premier institutions of state which offers teacher training programme in Himachal Pradesh. The admission processes at this institution are based on merit as prescribed by the Stat Government, UT Administration and the university affiliated with the above institution. The institution is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)-both of which indicate that it offers standard quality education.

D.El.Ed: The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is a two-year program which is offered by the college and is capable of taking in 50 students. D.El.Ed follows merit-based selection criteria for admissions against marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination as per the norms prescribed by the State Government or UT Administration. This program is beneficial for those candidates who have a desire to teach at the Primary School level.
