Acharya’s NRV School of Architecture, Bangalore which was set up in the year 2009 specialises in providing architectural education. Situated in Soladevanahalli, Bangalore, this affiliated college is approved by the Council of Architecture to promote standard quality education for rural children in this sector. Located at a 2 acre land the institute provides an environment that is conducive for learning and development. The school currently has a total enrolment of 350 students and a teaching staff of 22 thereby enhancing a good student faculty ratio. Under this domain, the institute provides two courses in architecture for the undergraduate and diploma levels. Consequently, the problem of gender equity is relatively well solved at the university, as 51% of male students and 49% of female students create a comfortable learning environment.

Acharya’s NRV School of Architecture provides two full-fledged courses in the area of architecture. The major non-executive programme is the five-year full time B.Arch course which has an approved strength of eighty students. Also, the institute provides three years full time Diploma in Architecture course having an intake capacity of 120 students. In general, both of the courses offered are essentially structured to enable students develop a strong endowment in both theoretical and practical aspects of architecture. In this regard, the B.Arch programme in particular, is aimed at creating professionals for the rapidly growing field of architecture by building their up theoretical as well as practical knowledge.

For B.Arch admissions, there are eligibility norms in the form of National Aptitude Test for Architecture – NATA. The institute also follows the score acquired in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) for offering admissions to B.Arch programme. A recognition of these national level entrance tests guarantees the right calibre and zeal among the student fraternity coming to the institute.
