Degree wise Admission Process

BA (Honours): Adarsh College provides BA Honours courses in various subjects such as History, Hindi, Geography, Economics, English, Political Science, Philosophy, and Urdu. The admission to these courses is based on merit. After a candidate submits an application for admission, the college makes a provisional merit list. The sanctioned intake differs from subject to subject, with History and Hindi having the maximum intake of 350 seats each, and Political Science having 30 seats.

B.Sc (Honours): B.Sc Honours courses in Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, and Geology are offered by the college. Admission process is as in BA programs, with the college making a provisional merit list from applications. Intake capacity differs, ranging from 80 for Mathematics, to 64 for Physics and Zoology, and 32 each for Botany and Chemistry.

B.Com (Honours): In the case of B.Com Honours too, the college takes the same merit-based admission. The course has a sanctioned intake of 128 seats.

MA Programs: Adarsh College runs MA programs in Political Science, Economics, and Hindi. The admission to these postgraduate courses also takes place based on merit, and the college draws out a provisional merit list. These MA programs too have an approved intake of 80 seats.
