JMI New Delhi Admission Process

Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral-level courses. JMI New Delhi admissions are based on the performance in the entrance examination conducted by the university. JMI admissions to the UG and PG programmes are made based on the marks scored in the JMI Entrance Examination followed by group discussion/interview, wherever applicable.

The first and foremost step to apply for admission is to register online and fill out the JMI Application Form 2025. Candidates must make sure that they fill all the details in their JMI 2025 application form correctly. Any discrepancy in the JMI 2025 application form and actual facts will result in the rejection.

Steps to Fill the JMI Application Form

Step 1 - Registration

Visit the official website of JMI.
Click the 'Register' button.
Fill out the registration form by providing your email address and cell phone number.
The university will send an email with the Unique CODE and a link to authenticate the email account, as well as a login (email ID) and password to the registered email id.
Applicants can go into the site and fill out the application form after successfully verifying the link and using their login ID and password.

Step 2 - Fill up the application form

Step 3 - Uploading the documents

Step 4 - Pay the application fee

JMI Counselling 2025

Reasons for cancelled JMI admission

A candidate may be denied admission if he or she is unable to show the most recent qualifying examination certificate or previous qualification certificate.
Candidates from the reserved category must provide supporting documentation at the time of admission.
If an applicant fails to pay the JMI entrance fee within the time frame specified, his or her seat will be frozen.
If any information provided by the candidate is proven to be erroneous, or if a candidate has been wrongfully admitted for any reason, this can be corrected at any time.
Anyone discovered engaging in malpractice or unfair activities during the JMI entrance exam 2025 would be barred from taking the exam.

JMI Reservation 2025

For students in the reserved category, the university has a reservation policy. I am a general ews category student. Up to what rank I can get DTU, DU or JMI for civil engineering or mechanical engineering.

For Civil Engineering at DTU, General EWS category students usually need a JEE Main rank below around 30,000. For DU, the cutoff ranks vary by college within the university, but a rank within the top 40,000 may be competitive. For JMI, a JEE Main rank around 60,000-70,000 could still offer a chance, as it has slightly higher cutoffs than DTU and DU. However, cutoffs can fluctuate each year.

Can I apply now for P.G.D in Remote Sensing and GIS course in Jamia Millia university?

All the courses of jamia Millia Islamia including pg diploma in remote sensing and GIS course application form is available in the month of February on their own website of university.you can apply from there whenever form is out.

Moreover,it is a one year course included 2 semester.candidates must have a bachelor's degree in relevant field with minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university or institute.tbe fees for thee course is approx 10 k.if you need accommodation they provide hostel facility charges of which is 50 k per annum.
