AIST Dehradun, being a recognized centre for undergraduate and postgraduate programs, follows a merit-based admission process for every program being offered. B.Sc Agriculture: The program has 120 seats. Admission is made through merit and state and central universities' counselling. Eligible candidates have to appear for an entrance examination. The total fee for the program is Rs 271,000.

BCA: The institute has an intake of 60 students for the BCA program. The admission process consists of merit-based selection and counseling. Entrance exam candidates are required. Course fee Rs 142,400.

BBA: AIST has an intake capacity of 60 students for the BBA Program. Admission is based on merit and counselling process including an entrance examination. Total fee for BBA is Rs 184,400.

B.Sc (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics): This program has 60 seats available. The admission procedure consists of merit, counseling, and entrance exam. Course fee is Rs 142,400.

B.Sc (Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry): AIST has 60 seats for this program. Admission is based on merit, counseling, and an entrance examination. The total fee is Rs 142,400

M.Sc Programs: AIST conducts M.Sc programs in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, and Botany. Each program has 20-25 seats. The admission process for all M.Sc programs consists of merit, state/central university counseling, and entrance examination. The fee for M.Sc Pharmaceutical Chemistry is Rs 178,600, while no fee has been specified against the remaining M.Sc. programs.
