AIM College of Law, Poyya which was set up in the year 2014 is an affiliated college. This BCI approved institution was mane for offering a specialised legal education in the country spread on 3.28 acres of land. AIM College of Law has a total intake of 182 to its students and a faculty of 10 which make it equivalent to a focused learning. The college currently offers two integrated five-year law programmes: BA LLB (Hons.) and B.Com LLB (Hons) each intake 60 students.
AIM College of Law has various facilities that impact on the student’s experience and or academics. The library is core component of the learning institution with large stock of printed and electronic documents in form of books, journals and audio visuals. Legal databases accessible to students include Manupatra, HeinOnline, J Stor, Westlaw, Lexis Nexis and SCC Online, thereby creating a legal research environment for a student. The campus is fitted with state of the art computer systems as well as a Wi-Fi connection that covers the entire Campus in order to keep the students connected to the digital libraries. Potential advocates have a Moot Court Hall contained in the college through which they achieve their advocacy skills through Moot Court Competitions and Mock Trial Sessions. There are also apart hostels for males and female students with adequate and standard accommodation for all the out-station students.

The admission at AIM College of Law is made in accordance with the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala. KLET is expected of all the students aspiring to pursue law at the University and this examination is conducted every year. This test remains the mechanism for selection to the BBA LLB (Hons) and the B.Com LLB (Hons) intakes. The admission process of the college follows the calendar year as developed by the state government and does not in any way favour the privileged. As much as detailed information about the scholarship may not be available, the institution must risk having other forms of help that it extends to deserving students.
