AIM College of Law, Poyya which was set up in the year 2014 is an affiliated college. This BCI approved institution was mane for offering a specialised legal education in the country spread on 3.28 acres of land. AIM College of Law has a total enrolment of 182 to its students and a faculty of 10 which make it equivalent to a focused learning. The college currently offers two integrated five-year law programmes: BA LLB (Hons.) and B.Com LLB (Hons) each intake 60 students.
AIM College of Law has various facilities that impact on the student’s experience and or academics. The library is core component of the learning institution with large stock of printed and electronic documents in form of books, journals and audio visuals. Legal databases accessible to students include Manupatra, HeinOnline, J Stor, Westlaw, Lexis Nexis and SCC Online, thereby creating a legal research environment for a student. The campus is fitted with state of the art computer systems as well as a Wi-Fi connection that covers the entire Campus in order to keep the students connected to the digital libraries. Application Process
Admission in AIM College of Law, Thrissur, is a step-by-step process:
1. KLET Registration: The applicants need to register for the Kerala Law Entrance Test (KLET) from the official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala.
2. KLET Test: Take the KLET on the given date at the prescribed examination center.
3. Declaration of Results: Wait for the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations to announce the results of the KLET.
4. Counselling Process: Shortlisted students are then invited for the counselling process in which they will be able to select their first preference college and course according to their rank and seat availability.

Degree wise Admission Process
BBA LLB (Hons): It is an integrated course of five years duration where business administration is mixed with law. Admission in BBA LLB (Hons) is offered based on the candidate's performance in the KLET. The capacity for admission of this course is approved by 60 seats. The criteria of eligibility are typically minimum 45% marks in 10+2 or equivalent exam of a recognized board.
B.Com LLB (Hons): It is a five-year integrated course in law and commerce. The admission to B.Com LLB (Hons) is on the basis of KLET performance, similar to the case of BBA LLB. The approved strength of the course is also 60 seats. The eligibility is more or less the same as in the case of the BBA LLB course and a background in commerce is desirable but not necessary.
Both the programs have a merit-based admission system whereby the students are admitted according to their KLET scores and performance. The integrated nature of the programs enables the students to get a general overview regarding law and the area of specialization they want to follow (business administration or commerce) within a period of five years.
