There are many colleges which offers production engineering (B.tech) . Mainly colleges like IITs/NITs offers production engineering. This branch would not be seen in private colleges like VIT Vellore , SRM University, Manipal University and the comedk colleges.

For the state government colleges you can look for the West Bengal and Tamil Nadu colleges. They are offering this branch.

In terms of faculties, JSPM and DY patil college of engineering rank first. Then second rank for AISSMS college of engineering and last for Pune Vidyarthi Griha. And for placements, the placement record of JSPM college is highest , next is AISSMS college of engineering and followed by DY patil and Punee vidyarthi griha.

AISSMS College of Engineering is a private engineering college located in Pune, Maharashtra, India. The college is affiliated with the University of Pune and was founded by Chhatrapati Shri Shahu Maharaj of Kolhapur, leading to the college's establishment in 1992.

For Computer science student the average salary package offered is 6-8 LPA around 60% -70% of the students get placed almost every year.Overall it is a good college.

It is recommended to choose AISSMS COE over AISSMS IOIT.

IOIT does not have much experienced faculty and good placements but if you want just cultural events then you can consider IOIT.

For any branch COE is better than IOIT.

As, AISSMS COE and IOIT have same campus, so they have joint campus placement for core companies.

You will get more opportunities in COE then IOIT as it is an old college with more experienced staff.

Both IT as wll as CSE courses are good in AISSMS college, Almost 90% of the students get placed with highest |CTC around 20 lpa and lowest package around 2 lpa. Major placements are done by  TCS, IBM, Wipro, HCL . As far as the faculty is concerned, the teachers are knowledgeable but they do not teach as much and students have to make up for the rest of the part on their own . The infrastrcture is great and there is a library, gym, labs and classrooms are in good condition. The course is moderatley helpfl and the students have to do other courses online to gin skills and industrial exposure. Overall the college is good for CSE and It and has been ranked 39th for Private engineering by Times2020

Around 80% of the total marks is the safe score and makes your seat secured in the college where you want to get an admission. to get an admission directly in 2nd year, you have to take lateral entry and you must have done diploma after 12th.

Mostly in top universities and institutes , the rank cutoff range is low for lateral entry students and it is like top branch cutoff for general category students. For this you have to study and  practice very well so that you have a good performance and score a good mark and get an admission in the college you are interested.
