AJMVPS's Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Ahmednagar is one of the finest institutions for hospitality education in India. The institute provides two full-time courses in hospitality management: four-year Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and three-year B.Sc. in Hospitality Studies. 

The admission process for the students is as follows for the respective courses offered in AJMVPS IHMCT: The BHMCT program admissions are based on the Maharashtra Bachelor of Hotel Management Common Entrance Test (MAH-BHMCT-CET) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) on behalf of the State Common Entrance Cell and Admission Regulatory Authority of Maharashtra. April every year marks the beginning of the admission process.

Candidates for the BHMCT program must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board. For BHMCT course,

1. Get registered and apply for MAH-BHMCT-CET through the official website of DTE.
2. Pay the application fee.
3. Appear in MAH-BHMCT-CET on scheduled dates, which will be on 28th March 2025 in the next year.
4. After the declaration of results, appear for the CAP process.
5. Fill CAP form mentioning your choice of preferred colleges as one among them i.e. AJMVPS IHMCT.
6. Date for document verification be produced as scheduled by the DTE office
7. Results for seat allotment
8. If get seat in AJMVPS IHMCT, then report to the allotted institute for confirmation/admission/ payment of fees and complete the whole process within scheduled time period 

B.Sc in Hospitality Studies-

BHMCT: The Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) is a four-year program offered at AJMVPS IHMCT. Admission to this program is based on the MAH-BHMCT-CET scores. The process begins with the Common Entrance Test, followed by a Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Candidates are required to register for the CAP after the declaration of CET results. B.Sc Hospitality Studies This is the three-year programme that AJMVPS IHMCT conducts. The entrance test for admissions in B.Sc Hospitality Studies differs as it will be conducted institute level. Normally the following documents are required for admission

• 10th and 12th standard mark sheets and passing certificates
• School leaving certificate
