Ambedkar College of Arts and Science, Wandoor, is an affiliated college in the Kottayam district of Kerala. The college offers undergraduate programs in various disciplines, the popular ones being Economics, English, Commerce, and Mathematics. Application Process

1. Obtain the application form: Applicants may collect the application form either from the College Office or download it from the official College website.

2. Fill out the application form: Completely fill all the required columns in the application form. Ensure the placement of all pertinent contact particulars: both email and mobile number.

3. Attach required documents: Along with the duly filled application form, the candidates must submit the following documents:

• Attested photocopies of the marks sheets of the 10th and 12th
• Transfer certificate from the last institution attended
• Conduct certificate
• Caste certificate (if applicable for reservation category)
• Recent passport-sized photographs

4. Submit the application: The completed application form must be submitted along with the required documents in person at the college office before the deadline. Alternatively, the application form may be sent by post; must be sent to reach the college on or before the last date stipulated.

5. Merit List Preparation: Based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and other criterion-specific for each course, college will draw-up a merit list.

Degree-wise Admission Process

A maximum of 60 seats have been approved for the B.Com. Cooperation program offered by Ambedkar College. Application for admission is open to those who completed 10+2 with Commerce or related subjects. Admission is based entirely on marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

B.Sc Mathematics: The program has 48 seats on offer. Applicants must have studied 10+2 with Mathematics as one of the main subjects. The selection is based on a merit list, with marks in the qualifying examination given predominance, in case by Mathematics scores.

BA Economics: There are 60 seats available for the BA Economics program. All those students who have passed the 10+2 examination in any stream are eligible to apply for the degree. However, for those with a background in Economics or related subjects, some priority is given.

BA English: The BA English program is an open program offered to students who have completed 10+2 in any stream. The merit list will favour those with higher scores in English in the qualifying examination.

MA Development Economics: This is a postgraduate program offered by the college. The prescribed intake has not been indicated, but applicants with a bachelor degree in Economics or a related field can apply. It may give preference to the undergraduate performance of candidates to be considered in the admission process.
