Amrita College of Nursing, Ranchi. The high vision of such a college makes it develop an educational program within nursing. As such, college nursing admission mainly aims at pinpointing the brightest nursing students out there. The college conducts multiple nursing courses, such as B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery), and ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife), each of which has its own prerequisites for admission and procedures. Degree wise Admission Process
B.Sc Nursing: This four-year undergraduate course is offered by the Amrita College of Nursing, Ranchi. Its admission details cannot be provided; however, it usually requires 10+2 with science subjects and Biology as one of the compulsory subjects. Admission would be based on entrance examination or merit.
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: Admission in the post basic B.Sc Nursing is based on written examination and interview. This course aims at equipping the registered nurses with higher qualification. GNM: General Nursing and Midwifery Diploma This is a diploma course in nursing. Admission to this generally requires 10+2 with science subjects. Admission for most colleges can be either through entrance or on merit, depending on the college.
ANM: ANM is a certificate course in nursing. In general, the eligibility criterion for this course is 10+2 with science. Mostly, the selection may be on merit basis or entry examination.
