36 MonthsDoctor of Medicine in Swasthavritta (Social and Preventative Medicine) is a Non – Clinical course. The program provides training on the principles and practice of Social and Preventive Medicine at both the personal and communal levels. Social and Preventative Medicine in School of Ayurveda gives elaborate guidelines and regimens for maintaining and promoting health of the individual and the community integrating modern concepts with principles of Ayurveda.
The program also offers principles of Yoga and Naturopathy.
Duration : Three years from the date of commencement of classes.
Curriculum : As per Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) and University – Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

A person possessing a degree in Ayurved or a University or Board or medical institution specified in the second schedule to the Act shall be eligible for admission In the post-graduate degree course.
The admission shall be on the basis of AIAPGET exam.
