Gateway for admissions to Engineering courses @ Symbiosis
Its not that great...as the name itself suggests(school of engg). The class rooms are spacious, clean and hygienic. We have got digital classrooms. But the lab experience is not that great, until you get a good table(with all the working components ) which is usually difficult to grab.
I am doing my B.TECH in Electronics and computer engineering which is a hybrid course program.I feel this department is a great choice for those who want to excel in both the streams. The curriculum is great and you get to learn many new things which is usually picked up with pace. The minimum experience of the core faculty is upto 10 years.
This is an interesting section for every person who wants to opt this program. The quality is great if you maintain a good cgpa above 7.5.I feel atlast it depends on the skills you have learnt all these years. Highest package offered was 52(CTC) from AIE branch. Average salary can be expected as 7L.
My course cost around 3L per annum. I feel degree is just a piece of paper,Just Work hard and be passionate about whatever you work.
The campus is around 50 acres. The best feature in the campus is the ATM road and E block 7th floor. The worst feature is ATM which is always under service. Most importantly we don't have UPI access...it feels like you are in 90s era. The location is quite great and peaceful.
Most of the necessary equipments for lab are available and well maintained, but a few of them are not of standard quality. They really need to work on the classrooms, as at times classrooms in school are much better than them. Considering the cleanliness, our college does excell in it.
Currently studying B Tech ECE 3rd Year, the quality of teaching is top-notch. The faculties here teaching are no less than MTech grads. Most faculties convey their teachings most unique and interesting ways. The curriculum of our college is updated every semester, sometimes during the middle of the semester ensuring we are up to date when we graduate from this college.
The placements are not that great, but for an average student surely they do get placed. This year the placements have dipped compared to the last year. Our college's placements team know as CIR is working rigorously to ensure we get placed with weekly training sessions. The current placements as of now have reached above 50%. The highest salary as of this year is 52 LPA for an Artificial Intelligence Engineering students. Our college's is really supportive in terms of placements while there are also a few restrictions, so as to ensure everybody gets placed. As of now our average salary is 6.5 LPA for our course.
The course cost when I joined was 3.5 L per year. This year it is around 4.5 L per year. The amount of money spent when I joined is very much worth it. But considering the new fee, with no upgrade in facilities, I really don't see much worthy in it.
Not at all exciting, especially for hostellers. They put on a lot of restrictions thinking that every student will attend the events (which by the way are not at all great), by not allowing hostellers to go out. The worst part of this college is that there is no UPI payments, as they only orefer cash. Which by the way, can be withdrawn from an ATM on campus but here is a catch, either the ATM is under service or there are only 500 rupee notes. Moreover, hostellers do not have freedom to go out. The activities are very much dull, and are being conducted just for the sake to conduct them and noting more than that. The location of the campus is not too rural at the same time not too urban, it is more or less lies in between them. The campus is well equipped with safety precautionary equipments that ensure safety of students with immediate response from the healthcare department.
For those who don't want to experience anything but education; as good as saying breath education, eat education and live education; this college should be on the top of the list.
Yes, our campus has most of the infrastructure required for labs, club activities,.. In every class wd have smart boards for presentations. WiFi is enabled all over the campus. And most importantly our management takes care of greenery very well and food is not that better is what I feel.
I am a computer science undergraduate pursuing btech in Amrita. Our evaluation process is continuous assessment which includes 3 quizes, 2 mid exams for internals. Some courses will be project based which enhances practical knowledge. Our curriculum is updated and yes we can put some of our projects in resume and there are certifications available like ccna, aws..
Quality of placements is good. Many companies hire students in 7th semester. First company that comes for hiring is Cisco. Product based companies like Atlassian Amazon, Cisco, Microsoft, Adobe comes for hiring. Highest package that was offered is around 52 lpa from Atlassian for the role software development engineer.
The college has excellent infrastructure , laboratory facilities and research equipment. All the classrooms are equipped with projectors and WiFi is enabled throughout the entire campus and dorms. The libraries covers an entire floor and is equipped with state of the art management software.
I am currently studying Bachelor of Technology specializing in Mechanical Engineering . The classes are regular in timing and quality of teaching is exceptional. The syllabus and curriculum are focused on overall development and motivates you to take accountability of your tasks.
The placement records are highly impressive with almost all eligible students being placed and the percentage of placed students is over 90%. The highest package was CTC of 52 lakhs . The placement processes is simple and the team is very supportive.
The per year fee comes around 2 lakhs in total and its totally worth it as the outcome is impressive in terms of placements and quality of education obtained.
The are various clubs you can join to explore your talents and the campus life is usually very active. The entire staff are very supportive for any thing we pursue .The college is located in the outer but well developed area of bangalore.

Hello Aspirant
In the NIRF rankings for 2021, Amrita is the fifth-best university in the nation. It is a multidisciplinary, research-intensive institution certified with the highest A++ NAAC grade. Nearly 90% of the pupils are assigned to a CSE course. The offered compensation ranges from 3.8 LPA for the lowest salary package to 45 LPA for the best salary package. The typical compensation package is 5 LPA.
Thanks
Dear Student ,
Your mentioned college does not take admission through KCET exam. Instead of that .. this college takes admission on the basis of AEEE and JEE MAIN exam for B.Tech and GATE, KARNATAKA PGCET for M.Tech admissions.
