Amritha Akshitha College of Elementary Teacher Education is a college that aimed for offering qualitative E.T.E and for making the future of elementary education in Mahabubnagar,Telangana. This affiliated college is located in the Metpally Village of Wanaparthy, the institution aims to conforms to guidelines set by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for teacher education in India.

This is a two-years full-course program that prepares the students for a career as an elementary school teacher. The College has a small yet reasonable student to faculty ratio, although the faculty at the college is quite small comprised of only as many as 8 active members. This means that the students are immediately given attention and are guided individually.

The students seeking admission to a particular course are selected based on the percentage secured in the qualifying examination. Sometimes an entrance examination or other tests might be conducted strictly on the basis of the norms laid down by the state government/UT administration.
