Anand Vishwa Gurukul, Thane, is an affiliated institute situated in the state of Maharashtra which was established in 2016. An institution that specialises in legal education, it is accredited by the Bar Council of India (BCI). The college has three full-time law programmes that have 252 students and a faculty strength of 10. Anand Vishwa Gurukul is for the aspiring legal professionals and also offers courses such as BA LLB, LLB, and LLM.

The institute possesses a range of infrastructural amenities to assist the students both in academic and personal groeth. The college library is an active nerve centre for offering modern knowledge to the students; it provides orientation among fresh students and staff members too for smooth usage of library. A gymnasium is also available in the campus to help them maintain their physical fitness. Sports grounds serve the purpose of the students for their recreational courses, thereby maintaining the fitness of body, mind and intellect. The Institute possesses an auditorium which is utilised in conducting seminars and holding events. The college has a health centre with first aid facilities to make sure that the students are fit. A canteen provides refreshments to the staff as well as the students. Workshops and well-kept classrooms provide an appropriate environment for effective learning as well as practical training. 

Anand Vishwa Gurukul, Thane offers three full-time courses in the field of law. The total sanctioned intake for all of these programmes is 60 seats in total, so the institute keeps a total student intake of 180, pulling together the intake for all three courses. This concentration will help to maintain the institute as a special understanding center for legal studies. 

The university carries out the process of admission primarily through Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, MHCET Law, for its undergraduate courses. This is a state-level examination that acquires importance in the way students get admitted to the BA LLB and LLB courses.
