    Great Experience

    College Infrastructure

The college has a small campus, but has all basic amenities, from courts to a cafeteria and has a well-equipped library. There is adequate provision for various clubs and cells as can be found in good law colleges, and the college does have a ground, though it is not connected to the main campus (it's two blocks away). The hostels are decent, and renovations happen at a regular basis. The college is very clean and the mess is decent at best. The classrooms are equipped with E-learning apparatus.

    Academics

I am a student of B.A. L.L.B., and the quality of teaching is very good. I can recount many debates and academic discussions about legal topics and current issues. The college offers many scholarships and does foster an academic environment. However, the university (Panjabi Uni) has a habit bringing about dates of exams out of the blue, which causes problems when it comes to internships. The curriculum can be improved a lot, but that's no fault of the college and has more to do with Panjabi Uni.

    Placements

The college has had consistent 100% placement for a couple of years now, avg. package being 7 lakhs and the highest being 14-16 lakhs. The placement cell is very helpful and is excellent even at guiding students and helping them formulate a road map for internships. The students are placed in good companies (HSBC, ICICI, etc.)

    Campus Life

The college has a vibrant culture, and is immersed in tradition. The Senior-Junior relationship is of great importance. There are various activities and events for students to do all around the year. There the campus is located close to Fortis Hospital. The college has a small medical emergency room and a trained Nursing Assistant.

Have a question related to AIL Mohali ?

I got 25 rank all india category..any chances for AIL LET 2024?

The cutoff for the Army Institute of Law for candidates from an Army background is between 65 to 70 marks, while for civilian candidates it ranges from 130 to 135 marks The AIL LET 2024 exam was conducted on June 9, 2024 in a computer-based online mode at allotted test centres for admission to BA LLB course offered by All Mohall. The AIL LET 2024 registration without a late fee was open till May 8, 2024. Around 3000-4000 students appear for the entrance test. Out of the total number of seats Le 80, 60 are reserved for defence background, 16 for those having Punjab domicile and 4 for the civil category. Around 3000-3500 sit for those 60 seats and 300-400 for those 4 seats!

AIL college accept clat exam ??

AIL (Army Institute of Law), located in Punjab, does not accept the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) for admission. Instead, AIL conducts its own entrance test known as the AIL Entrance Test (AILLET) for admission to its law programs, including the five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) course.

    Hello Anjali,

With a score of 97 out of 200 and a rank of 212 in the Army Institute of Law Entrance Test (AIL LET) 2024 for the army category, you have a moderate chance of securing admission to the Army Institute of Law, Mohali. Admission depends on the number of available seats and the cut-off for the year, which can vary.

    Factors to Consider:

    • Seat Availability : The total number of seats available for the army category.

    • Cut-off Trends : Previous years' cut-off ranks and scores for the army category.

    • Counseling Rounds : Sometimes, seats become available in subsequent counseling rounds if initial candidates opt out.

      Next Steps:

    • Participate in Counseling : Make sure you participate in the counseling process and have all required documents ready.

    • Stay Updated : Keep an eye on official announcements from the Army Institute of Law regarding cut-offs and seat allotment.

Based on previous trends, a rank of 212 might be on the borderline, so it’s crucial to follow through with the counseling process and stay informed about any additional rounds or changes in seat availability.
