In india, now a days, all college have anti ragging club or rules. Even if it is not there, the college makes it sure that there is no ragging. Especially in reputed colleges there is no ragging. But it becomes doubtful when it comes to lower level private colleges. The management will be unmindful of these activities. But most of the reputed private and govt colleges are free of ragging.

As per the rank that you had mentioned and taking your category into consideration, the chances of getting Chemical engineering at Andhra university university are little as the previous year cutoff is observed at a rank 7000 for Bc d girls. You can expect a seat in the branches like Metallurgical engineering,chemical petroleum engineering,bio technology ,Nam etc.

However it will be better to keep chemical engineering too while choice filling as the cutoffs vary from year to year.

Based on the rank you scored and taking your category into consideration, the chances of getting mechanical engineering seat at Andhra university  low.  The previous year cutoff for mechanical branch is observed at a rank 2500 for your category ,so it is difficult to get.

You can get Admission through AP EAMCET.

Cut off for 2020 will be published after all the rounds of counselling is over. The cut off in 2018 was as follows

AU College of Engineering

  • CSE:1301
  • EEE:3525
  • INF(Self Finance): 11500

Petroleum is not offered in AU.

AU College of Engineering for Women (Self-Finance courses)

  • CSE:11191
  • EEE:18736

AUEWSF does not offer INF and Petroleum. So you only have chances of getting seat in AUEWSF in EEE considering the cut off in 2018. Cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty of exam and number of seats available etc. To find the colleges in which you may get seat you can use our AP EAMCET college predictor

According to last year's cutoff ranks, in au engineering college for the course computer science, as of last year , the closing rank was 760 , and for petrochemical engineering, it was 3999, for general category.
