It's decent. All necessary facilities are available such as classrooms, equipment. However, there should be more sport centres. College should ensure that infrastructure is such that all round development is there
Quality of teaching and curriculum is top notch. However, Some teachers are there who just take anything and everything at their ego and hence need a lot of improvement. But overall e evrything is quite decent.
Much improvement is needed in this department. Almost all Students who need placements get placed. However, the package of students is relatively low and much work has to be done by placement department.
Yes I think the fees of the college is worth it.
There is no campus specifically for ASMSOC and hence, no campus life.
College should improve its sport facilities
Infrastructure is good but it lacks a campus. There are just 2 floors to which the college is limited to. Otherwise it's well equipped with all essential stuff. But you want space to like have chat and sit .
High standards of lecture and quality content delivered. The course is always up to date with the market requirements. The professors are remarkable! The experience you gain here can add immensely to your knowledge base.
The placement are just fine. For as many people don't sit for placements only as the packages offered aren't good enough. The placement department is helpful though. You would tops get a package of say 4 lakhs annually.
Campus Life is somewhat you would have in your school ...nothing out of the ordinary.
The college has the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipments. We have smart boards in every class, there is a big library. The facilities are well used and well maintained. The college is also clean and hygienic.
I am currently pursuing BBA from ASMSOC, NMIMS. I am doing BBA for my interest in business and plan on becoming a business woman myself. The curriculum is well updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.
The quality of placements is quite good. A good percentage of students get placed in well reputated companies. The highest salary package was of 18 lakhs. I didn't sit for the placements but college is very supportive.
My course costs me approximately 2.5 lakhs a year. And I feel that it is worth paying the high fees. The college focuses on overall development and beautifully gets this into action. It also encourages interactive learning process.
The campus life is really amazing. The infrastructure is really nice. The students can engage in all kinds of activities ranging from dance to drama to tech club, nature club etc. The students, teachers and the support staff are all very good.
It's worth studying here.
ASMSOC occupies the 7th and half of the 8th floor in Mithibai building. So practically we have no campus. Our classrooms have smart boards and ACs , most of which are well maintained. The college floors are well maintained.
I'm studying BCom(Hons) in ASMSOC. The quality of teaching is quite average. Some teachers are well experienced and teach in an interactive way. The course outline is up to date with recent developments.
The quality of placements is poor in ASMSOC. Not even 50% of the students get placed through campus placements. The average salary offered in 2017-2018 was 3.54 Lakhs and the highest package 5 Lakhs. was
The course is very expensive in comparison to other colleges.
They give us a lot of opportunities to engage in extracurricular activities .
Hello Prakhar
Hand's Down, Christ.
From among these two college, it's Christ University for sure.
Christ ranks better in Commerce. It has a better brand reputation and in terms of cost, they will cost you same.
What makes Christ Better :
International Exposure
Higher Standards
Discipline & Work Ethics
Great Management System
Vibrant Course Structure

Hi Vartika
The answer to you question if you ask in simple words is NO. You can not take transfer in second year from one university to another, you will have to reappear for admission test and procedures and start all again if from first year if you really want to change your university. However, if you want to change your course and study in your same university then it may happen but it is very very difficult rather I would say it is almost impossible, you can request your university management if they would consider your demand to change your course (which they are most likely to refuse) only then something can happen . You can not go to any other university just by getting transferred in second year.
I hope this answer resolved your query.
Narsee Monjee , Christ and Symbiosis are some of the best colleges in the country . Studing in these colleges in one of the best opportunities that you can get . The fees is hefty though, as compared to other colleges. I would suggest you to take admission in Du colleges which are the top most collegees for economics. However these colleges also have good environment , opportunities and peer group.
