Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai.

Eligibility Criteria

The Candidates should have passed the Degree Examination, with the same main subject in part III and part IV (Major + Allied Subjects) for which he/she is seeking admission in the B.Ed., Course except for Commerce
Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% for OC, 45% for B.C, 43% for M.B.C., and 40% for SC., & S.T., of marks in part III and part IV (Major + Allied Subjects) of Degree Examination.
Post Graduate candidates in Commerce with 50% (irrespective of their U.G. Mark) of marks in P.G. Degree are eligible for admission to Commerce Subject in B.Ed., Course.
In the case of physically or visually challenged candidates, a minimum pass in the degree is enough. e. There is no age limit for admission is enough

Admission Details

Admission shall be on merit basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per policy of State Government/UT administration and the University.
